Introduction
Tucked away in the heart of the Chilcotin Mountains lies the largest timber lodge in the West, nestled on the shores of Tyaughton Lake with views of snow-covered peaks up to 9,500 feet. Tyax is a first class Outdoor Adventure Resort located just 5 hours north of Vancouver and 1.5 hours west of Lillooet.
You can go horseback riding, fishing, hiking, gold panning, mountain biking and quad biking. Volleyball and tennis courts, recreation and fitness rooms, sauna and outdoor jacuzzi are all part of the facilities. In a floatplane, experience the untamed Canadian wilderness with flightseeing trips over the vast Bridge River Glacier fields, as well as drop-offs at a remote alpine lake for hiking through the wildflower carpeted meadows and fishing for the hard fighting rainbow trout.
