Introduction
Explore the provinces of Ontario and Quebec on this 13-day holiday, taking in the highlights of Toronto, Montreal, Quebec City and Ottawa. The circular route travels along Lake Ontario from Toronto to the Thousand Islands resort region, then east to taste the unique flavour of French Canada.
The northern journey from Ottawa travels through Algonquin Park and on to Niagara Falls, the ‘honeymoon capital of the world’, before returning to Toronto.

Itinerary
Day 1 Arrival In Toronto
Transfer independently from the Airport to your hotel and spend the rest of the day exploring the city. Stay in Toronto for two nights.
Day 2 Toronto
Visit the SkyDome, Ontario Place, the Ontario Science Centre, the Royal Ontario Museum, or simply enjoy the shops!
Optional excursion: The CN Tower, standing at 335m tall, offers sweeping panoramic views of Toronto and Lake Ontario.
Day 3 Toronto to Kingston - 260 km
Collect your hire car and drive to Kingston and tour Fort Henry or take a Thousand Islands cruise. An alternative route passes through the heritage towns of Prince Edward County. Overnight in Kingston.
Day 4 Kingston to Montreal - 290 km
En route to Montreal, visit to Upper Canada Village at Morrisburg, a fascinating re-creation of a 19th-Century Canadian Pioneer Village. Stay in Montreal for two nights.
Day 5 Montreal
Visit Notre-Dame Basilica, Old Montreal, the Olympic site, the Biodome, Mt. Royal Park, the casino or the underground city. Montreal is renowned for its vibrant and cosmopolitan nightlife.
Optional excursion: A cruise on the St. Lawrence River. You will see the Old Port, Ste-Helen’s Island, the unspoiled landscape of the Boucherville Islands and much more!
Day 6 Montreal to Quebec City - 250 km
En route to Quebec City, stop at Cap-de-la-Madeleine, a shrine to the Virgin Mary. In Trois-Rivières is the Museum of Quebec Folk Arts and Traditions. Stay in Quebec City for two nights.
Day 7 Quebec City
This is Canada's oldest city and exhibits a strong French heritage. Outside the city are the dramatic shrines at Sainte Anne-de-Beaupré, Montmorency Falls and the Ile d'Orleans.
Optional excursion: Quebec City sightseeing tour, to see the Latin Quarter, the Plains of Abraham, the Citadel, the Fortifications, the National Assembly, Place Royale and the Basilica.
Day 8 Quebec City to Ottawa - 460 km
Visit more local attractions, perhaps the Wolfe-Montcalm Monument or Dufferin Terrace en route to Ottawa. Stay in Ottawa for two nights.
Day 9 Ottawa
Spend the day exploring. We suggest a visit to the Parliament Buildings, museums or National Gallery.
Optional excursion (June 13 - Aug 24): For an authentic aboriginal experience, visit a native village, complete with teepees, wigwams and other cultural displays, and take a guided tour. On other dates, enjoy a 2 hour Discover Ottawa Tour.
Day 10 Ottawa to Huntsville - 350 km
Enjoy a drive to Algonquin Provincial Park and the beautiful Muskoka region. Overnight near Huntsville for two nights.
Day 11 Huntsville
The Huntsville area offers a variety of activities including boat cruises and hiking trails. Nearby is Lion's Lookout Park and Muskoka Pioneer Village.
Day 12 Huntsville to Niagara Falls - 330 km
Drive south via Toronto en route to Niagara Falls, teh "honeymoon capital of the world". Overnight in Niagara Falls.
Optional excursion: The Maid of the Mist will take you to the American Falls before sailing past massive rock formations to the magnificent sight of the thundering Horseshoe Falls.
Day 13 End of Tour - 130 km
Take a leisurely drive along Lake Ontario and return to Toronto Airport for your return flight.
