One of our best-selling tours, it offers the most scenic but less-travelled route throught the Rockies, Alberta and Vancouver Island.
A combination of relaxed travelling pace and multiple nights in lodges, hotels and guest houses creates a really distinctive holiday. You will experience the real Canadian West, as most of the lodges are surrounded by nature and offer activities like riding, hiking, and canoeing.

Itinerary
Day 1 Vancouver
Arrive in Vancouver - independent transfer to your downtown hotel for two nights.
Day 2 Vancouver - 130 km
A full day to visit beautiful Vancouver, and see Stanley Park, Chinatown, historic Gastown and Robson Street. Included is a vintage trolley day pass to visit all the major city attractions.
Day 3 Vancouver - Victoria - 120 km
Collect your hire car and take a scenic ferry ride across the Strait of Georgia (payable locally) to Victoria. You could visit the Empress Hotel, the Royal Museum, and Butchart Gardens. 2 nights at the Dogwood Manor.
Day 4 Victoria
Today includes a thrilling Zodiac trip in search of Orca and other whales, an experience you won’t forget! The remainder of the day is free to explore Victoria.
Day 5 Victoria - Manning Park - 300 km
Take the ferry back to mainland BC. Drive through the fertile Fraser River delta and experience pioneer history at Fort Langley. Spend one night in the forests of the North Cascade Mountains, at Manning Park Lodge.
Day 6 Manning Park - Revelstoke - 450 km
Follow the Similkameen River to the beaches and orchards of the warm Okanagan Valley. Then continue to the impressive Monashee Mountains and Revelstoke in the Columbia Valley for two nights at Glacier House Resort.
Day 7 Revelstoke
Relax in the lodge pool, sauna or spa, explore the surrounding mountains, or you could go canoeing.
Day 8 Revelstoke - Canmore - 260 km
The Trans Canada Highway leads you past steep mountains to Rogers Pass in Glacier National Park. Watch for mountain goats and bears along the road to Yoho National Park. You can visit Lake Louise on your way to Canmore (near Banff) for two nights.
Day 9 Banff
From your base in Canmore you can explore the Rockies. You could visit Kootenay National Park and world famous Banff, take the gondola up Sulphur Mountain, visit the hot pools, or go wildlife viewing or riding.
Day 10 Canmore -Jasper - 250 km
Drive the Icefields Parkway, the world's most scenic highway, where you could take an ‘Ice Explorer’ trip onto the Columbia Icefield. Two nights in Jasper.
Day 11 Jasper
A free day to enjoy Jasper. Various activities are available locally; you could visit the Athabasca Falls or take a rafting trip.
Day 12 Jasper - Wells Gray Park - 320 km
Follow the Yellowhead Highway to Mount Robson, and look out for moose as you drive the Cariboo Mountains to the Wells Gray Park area for one night.
Day 13 Wells Gray - Whistler - 425 km
Drive from Clearwater to the semi-desert area around Kamloops, then take the Duffey Lake Road through the scenic Coastal Mountains to the alpine resort of Whistler for one night.
Day 14 Whistler - Vancouver - 140 km
Drive along the Pacific Ocean on the 'Sea to Sky' Highway back to Vancouver, for your last night.
Day 15 End of Tour
Return to Vancouver International Airport.
