Itinerary
Day 1 Calgary Arrival
Arrive in Calgary and spend the rest of the day sightseeing. Overnight in Calgary.
Day 2 Calgary to Banff
Highlights of your Banff tour include the Cave and Basin Centre, Banff Gondola, Bow Falls, Surprise Corner and the Hoodoos. Overnight in Banff.
Day 3 Banff to Lake Louise
A tour takes you into Yoho National Park. See Lake Louise, the Spiral Tunnels, Emerald Lake and a natural Rock Bridge that spans the Kicking Horse River. Overnight in Lake Louise.
Day 4 Lake Louise to Jasper
Tour Banff and Jasper National Parks via the Icefields Parkway. The Icefield is one of the largest accumulations of ice south of the Arctic Circle. Here you will ride the Ice Explorer to the middle of Athabasca Glacier. Overnight in Jasper.
Day 5 Jasper Sightseeing
Tour Pyramid and Patricia Lakes, Maligne Canyon and Athabasca viewpoint. The remainder of the day is free to explore more of Jasper. Overnight in Jasper.
Day 6 Jasper to Kamloops
The Rocky Mountaineer will follow the Thompson River through the Monashee and Cariboo Mountains and along rolling plateaus until it reaches the town of Kamloops. Overnight in Kamloops.
Day 7 Kamloops to Vancouver
Continue your journey westwards from Kamloops and travel along the Thompson River to the Fraser Canyon, passing through the Fraser Valley to Vancouver. Overnight in Vancouver.
